Our Story

The Red Lake Coffee story began on the shores of two lakes.

Daryl and Robyn grew up and met in Red Lake, Ontario. Josh and Leah met spending their summers at Lake Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Both couples wanted to start a business that would give the profit to organizations who help struggling people have a fresh start. In the fall of 2014 they connected with Dignity House and wanted to support them as they work with women exiting the sex trade.

Since Daryl and Robyn loved roasting their own coffee and since Josh and Leah loved starting small businesses, they decided to go for it and start a coffee company together. It just made sense.

Simply put, we love people, the lake and good coffee.
